Your Home page is one of the most important pages in your site, so plan it carefully.

It is the place most visitors will see first when they come to your site.

It tells people what your site is about, and (probably) who you are (or your company/organization).

No matter what you name the file when you work on it, it should always have the name "index.html" when you upload it to your web space. This is how browsers are able to find the Home page for your site.

It sets the tone for the rest of your site, so this helps establish your identity.

It contains a site description and links to the rest of your site, but it may do it in a creative way, if you are so inclined.

The Title and keywords used in the header Source code will be important for helping search engines find you. If they can't find you, people won't come unless you e-mail them the address.
